Its client portfolio ranges from large German family-owned businesses and industrial groups to established mid-sized companies. The focus is on organization\u2019s headquartered in Germany, supported by a strong international network. Before a role is filled, H\u00f6chsmann &amp; Company analyses the real question behind the vacancy \u2013 structures, expectations and dynamics. The goal is not a quick placement, but leadership that works.<\/p>\n<p>That is why the collaboration does not end with a signature: the team remains alongside shareholders and executives after the appointment, supports onboarding and integration, and is available as a long-term sparring partner for entrepreneurially sensitive decisions. The firm works with consultants who operate as independent partners under one roof, supported by an in-house back-office team for administration, project delivery and research. Multilingual capability is a clear advantage: English, Spanish, Polish and Hungarian are covered within the team. Multiple generations, advisory boards and shareholders have to be brought along. \u201cThe term \u2018culture fit\u2019 may sound a little overused, but cultural alignment is decisive,\u201d explains the executive search consultant. Often it is about making different ideals visible and finding a shared common ground.<\/p>\n<p>This is where emotional intelligence plays a central role. Before moving into executive search, today\u2019s Managing Director completed coach training. \u201cYou need to know when to raise critical questions in the room \u2013 and when it\u2019s better one-to-one.\u201d The aim is to recognise tensions without putting anyone on the spot, and to surface unspoken expectations.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>[vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;An Entrepreneur wearing two hats&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h3|text_align:center&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;%7B%22default%22%3A%7B%22margin-top%22%3A%2220px%22%7D%7D&#8221;]<div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>Thorsten Amend-Schnaar became a partner at H\u00f6chsmann &amp; Company in 2021 and acquired 100% of the shares at the end of 2022. He sees himself in a dual role: operational in assignments and strategic as an entrepreneur. At the same time, he is driving topics such as digitalisation and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>He does not see AI as a replacement for personal relationships, but as assistance. \u201cYou speak to me personally and not to my avatar,\u201d he stresses. AI supports research, analysis and internal processes, and serves as a sparring partner on marketing topics. The aim is to set the course for the next ten to fifteen years. International connectivity plays an important role: as a member of the AESC EMEA Council and the BDU, he actively seeks exchange with peers in the industry and with other advisory disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>His personal drive, however, goes beyond business figures. \u201cI have the privilege of speaking with fascinating people every day \u2013 and I\u2019m constantly learning.\u201d At the same time, he advocates a positive attitude in everyday life: \u201cEveryone can do something in their own environment to lift the mood.
