Declan Haverty supports early-stage, scaling and established international companies in filling key leadership roles across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare, IT and technology. With a scientific foundation and extensive cross-industry experience, he is known for quickly understanding complex therapeutic areas, emerging technologies and diverse business models.

His focus lies on executive and board-level appointments, succession and transformation mandates, and mission-critical leadership hires. He regularly supports organisations during market entry, scale-up and change phases, providing both executive search execution and interim recruitment leadership when needed.

Declan began his career with Price Waterhouse Management Consultants in London before moving into executive search, advancing to Divisional Director at Norman Broadbent PLC. As VP Recruitment at Protégé, he supported multiple pre-IPO US technology companies entering Europe and contributed to scaling the organisation worldwide.

Since founding Informed Decision in 2003, he has worked internationally across life sciences and technology and collaborates closely with RxCel Partners in the United States.

Declan holds a BSc (Hons) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Loughborough University. Based near Oxford, he is valued for his clarity, integrity and consistent delivery in complex leadership environments.
