Through her own consulting firm, Katja Krater GmbH, which has been operating for over ten years, she assists companies with the selection and development of leadership personalities, providing a scientifically sound, practical approach with a clear focus on the essentials.
She specialises in accurately assessing potential, conducting executive assessments, in-depth interviews and planning succession and precisely filling business-critical leadership roles. She is a highly sought-after partner for board members and HR decision-makers, particularly during periods of transformation or when strategic decisions are being made.
She began her 30-year career as a principal at PA Consulting Group, later moving into senior management at PricewaterhouseCoopers. During this time, she also spent 14 years teaching and researching as a lecturer, focusing on topics such as ‘women in leadership positions’ – an area on which she has published several articles and conducted renowned studies.
