The ranking is based on a survey designed by Christel Gade, Professor of Human Resources and Organisation at IU International University of Applied Sciences. Between October 2024 and October 2025, around 3,000 senior HR decision-makers provided 6,000 individual assessments on their satisfaction with the performance of the headhunters they had engaged. In addition, around 100 reference interviews were conducted. More than 900 consultancies were nominated and evaluated, with only the top-performing firms included in the final ranking.
