Thorsten Amend-Schnaar primarily supports medium-sized companies, family-owned business and international corporate groups in filling key positions, succession planning, and onboarding new role holders.
His focus lies in appointing management and leadership positions, as well as in the selection and placement of advisory and supervisory board members. Since 2013, he has been active across various industries in personnel and management consulting, and since January 2021 he has served as Managing Partner and shareholder at Höchsmann & Company.
As an advisor and certified business coach, he predominantly accompanies family businesses, managing directors, executives and supervisory bodies during succession processes and phases of change – offering support in reflection and decision-making, conflict situations, and periods of realignment.
Prior to executive search, he held various management and C-level positions in the travel, hospitality and aviation industry in Germany and Spain.
Thorsten graduated in Business Administration and Tourism Management from Leuphana University Lüneburg in 1994. He is married and father of four children.
